Description
Natural Sienna Vallejo 73105: balanced earth tones and realistic soil deposits
Extra-fine powder pigment designed for natural sienna earth, clay dust and warm deposits with natural finishes. Its neutral yellow-brown tone provides a balanced earthy colour, perfect for transitions between ochres and browns. The fine grain makes it easy to build up glazes and smooth transitions on metal, plastic or resin, and its non-flammable nature allows you to work safely indoors. The 35 ml jar goes a long way across multiple weathering projects and dries without unwanted shine.
For dry application, apply the pigment with a soft brush wherever it would naturally accumulate by gravity (horizontal surfaces, recesses, tracks and running gear). Blend with a clean brush to tone down panels or break up uniform areas. If you want light fixing without losing texture, touch the pigment with a brush dampened in a fixer/binder; for extra volume, mix it with binder to a paste and create crusts and build-ups. Compatible with water, acrylics and varnishes; tools can be cleaned with water and soap.

Suggested uses: on vehicles operating in temperate or mildly arid theatres it creates earthy dust deposits; in rural dioramas it simulates dirt roads, ditches and dry embankments; in urban scenery it adds accumulated earth on kerbs, cracks and construction areas. Alternate layers of earth tones, sands and rust colours, sealing when needed to preserve the stratified weathering effect.
